New Drum Set Black 5-Piece Complete Full Size with Cymbals Stands Stool Sticks

 

This drum set exceeded my expectations in every way. It came complete with cymbals, drum sticks, all stands/hardware, and a drum stool. Was pretty easy to put together with the supplied web site and video (took approx. 1 hour from start to finish). It has a sharp look to it, and has a good sound - it's definitely loud! My neighbors are going to love me. It appears to be very sturdy. Really can't think of any negatives, and I'd highly recommend it to anybody looking for a beginner/starter set. 

Own The Night

 

 "Own the Night" is the third studio album by Lady Antebellum and picks up right where they left off with last year's "Need You Now." They have an impressive track record which includes being awarded Top New Group by the Academy of Country Music and New Artist of the Year by the Country Music Association in 2008. They were then nominated for a total of 4 Grammy Awards in 2009 and 2010, winning one of them for Best Country Performance for the song "I Run To You." In 2010 they won Top Vocal Group and Song of the Year ("Need You Now") at the ACM Awards and took home 5 Grammy Awards in 2011.

The first track, "We Owned The Night" is the perfect start to the album: An upbeat tune that has lots of energy and will make you jump out of your chair and start to dance. The lyrics are nothing short of poetic and inspired by dreams of a once in a lifetime moment of passion. Singer Hillary Scott says the album was named after these sentiments. The mandolin that Dave Haywood plays adds an amazing texture that enhances the song with charisma and a hint of bluegrass influence. "Just a Kiss" was the first single and made its debut last spring on American Idol. It debuted at number 7 on Billboard's top 100, the highest debut by a country artist in over 52 years. "Dancing Away With My Heart" was co-written with Josh Kear, the same person who helped write "Need You Now." The song is everything a country tune should be: deep, meaningful lyrics, excellent musicianship, and passionate singing and playing. The song is so familiar I was humming away with it the first time I listened. Another highlight is "As You Turn Away," a song with a catchy hook and incredible vocal melodies and harmonies. If you liked Lady Antebellum's two previous albums, or if you're a fan of country music, you'll love this. Highly recommended!!

David Crowder and his band have led us on a merry journey over the last 7 albums, from upstarts who sounded like nothing else out there to the go-to guys for some of the best, most creative praise and worship rock around. Crowder's amazing, idiosyncratic voice and the unfailing songwriting always kept our eyes on Jesus. I am sad that this is the last planned Dave Crowder Band album. I am happy that it is so fantastic. Like Rich Mullins wonderful liturgical influenced work (A Liturgy, A Legacy, and A Ragamuffin Band), Crowder uses the Requiem as the touchstone in this album. But there is hardly a trace of sadness here-this is a requiem full of thankfulness, of joy, of worship. Finishing the album up with hymns like "Because He Lives" gives me absolute chills every time I hear it. This is a wonderful album, full of real and genuine adoration, full of hope and full of the ingredients that make Crowder's music so creative and special. I am thankful that we have this final document of an amazing band--perhaps most amazing because they never seem to want to keep the focus on them, but only on Jesus. Highly, enthusiastically recommended. 

Adele 19

I found Adele about year ago on Myspace. I was instantly taken with the single Best for Last. I searched online for the CD because I had to here more from the person who posessed this voice I can only describe as "chunky butter"; unexpected and smooth. I absolutely couldn't find her anywhere not even in the record stores. I waited patiently because I knew she would not get away in the age when her type of music is such a breath of fresh air. I've had the CD in my hands for 3 days now and it's been all I expected. I can't stop listening to it. I still enjoy Best for Last but I seem to repeat Chasing Pavement, Make You Feel My Love which was one of my faves from Garth Brooks. But, I'd have to say Melt My Heart to Stone and Right as Rain are my favorites and touch me personally. I haven't listened to a CD this much since Corrine Bailey Rae. I didn't think to compare Adele to Amy Winehouse until I read a comment here.
